Dr. Daniel Sarpong is an Engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)-Ghana: dual MSc., Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation, KNUST & Water and Environment Technology from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, and BSc, Agricultural Engineering-KNUST.

His Contributions have been in programme design, planning, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation on the themes of WASH, climate change, waste recovery, in addition to his sensitization and advocacy for improving sanitation financing and environmental sustainability. His contributions can also be felt in his several advisory and consultancy roles within international organizations such as Frannan International/Global Affairs Canada-Ghana office (Technical Specialist).

Dr. Sarpong has in the past 15 years worked with UNICEF Nigeria, AfDB, World Bank: GIZ; World Vision International-West Africa Region; Head of Programme, WaterAid Ghana; OXFAM- GB, and WASH Specialist, PLAN International. He has also served as a Technical Specialist at Frannan International/Global Affairs Canada-Ghana office.
