Trained in Berekum Training Collage; a certificate in HND Construction Technology from Cape Coast polytechnic; a degree and MPhil in Construction Technology from the University of Education, Winneba; and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.

Enhancing concrete structures with natural materials; Bonding characteristics of reinforced concrete with natural material; Durability of natural material concretes and reinforcement in structural members; Sustainable concrete with natural fibres; Innovative techniques for prestressing concrete beam and slab using medium steel bars and natural fibres; Deflection characteristics of natural fiber-reinforced concrete structures; Low-cost bricks and blocks for construction using recycled materials; Impact strength of natural reinforced concrete slabs for roadway/walkway structures. Economic, environmental, and social impact on the livelihood of men due to construction related activities.
