VACANCIES FOR SENIOR MEMBERS (TEACHING)

We seek individuals who possess the requisite qualifications, skills, and commitment to contribute to the realisation of our vision. Successful applicants shall be responsible for teaching and research in courses at
undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students’ research and undergraduate students’ project works, and offer academic counselling to students. Candidates will be appointed to their present/current grades.
NB: As per the Tertiary Education Policy, candidates with Certification in Education from the Post-Graduate Diploma Level stand a good advantage. Candidates who do not have such certification should be willing to acquire
such within two (2) years of employment.

Qualifications/Work experience

PROFESSOR
Applicants must possess the following:
1. A Ph.D. from a recognised University.
2. Appointed as an Associate Professor or its equivalent by a recognized analogous institution.
3. Published a minimum of 12 peer-reviewed publications since appointment as an Associate Professor, or have a cumulative minimum of 28 peer-reviewed publications since appointment
as a Lecturer.
4. Served for a minimum of two (2) years as an Associate Professor or ten (10) years since appointment as a Lecturer.

5. Ability to attract research funding will be an added advantage

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Qualifications/Work Experience
The applicants must possess the following:
1. A Ph.D. from a recognised University.
2. Appointed as a Senior Lecturer or its equivalent by a recognised analogous institution.
3. Possesses a minimum of 10 peer-reviewed publications since appointment as a Senior Lecturer, or has a cumulative minimum of 16 peer-reviewed publications since appointment
as a Lecturer.
4. Served for a minimum of four (4) years as a Senior Lecturer or eight (8) years since appointment as a Lecturer.
5. Ability to attract research funding will be an added advantage.

SENIOR LECTURER
The applicants must possess the following:
Qualifications/Work Experience
1. A Ph.D. from a recognised University.
2. Appointed as a Senior Lecturer or its equivalent by a recognised analogous institution.
3. Possesses a minimum of six (6) peer-reviewed publications since appointment as a Lecturer at a recognised analogous institution.
4. Served for a minimum of four (4) years as a Lecturer or in an equivalent rank at an analogous institution.
5. Demonstrated ability to attract research funding will be an added advantage.

LECTURER
The applicants must possess the following:
Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. from a recognised University
2. Ability to demonstrate teaching in higher educational institution
3. Post-qualification experience and peer-reviewed publications will be added advantages
4. A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a University or an analogous institution
All the appointments are full-time.
