VACANCIES FOR SENIOR MEMBERS (NON-TEACHING)

OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR

Applications are invited from qualified candidates to take up appointments in the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences and School of Sustainable Development in the following areas:

1. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Applicants for the Senior Accountant position must:

  1. Possess a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  2. Have served as an Accountant or its equivalent for a minimum period of four (4) years in the service of a university or analogous institution OR must have served in a relevant field in industry, commerce or public service for a minimum of six (6) years’ post professional qualification experience.
  3. Have attained the rank to which they are being appointed from an analogous institution.
  4. Be a member of a recognized Professional Accounting/Finance body, preferably:

a. Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA)

b. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

c. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

d. Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors

e. Certified Internal Auditor

2. SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR / SENIOR ENGINEER / SENIOR ESTATE OFFICER

Qualifications Required and Experience

Applicants for the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Senior Engineer/Senior Estate Officer position must:

  1. Possess a Master’s degree in the relevant field, preferably Architecture, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Land Economy, Estate Management, etc.
  2. Be a member of a relevant Professional body, preferably the following:

a. Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA)

b. Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE)

c. Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) d. Architects Registration Council (ARC)

  • Have a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant post qualification experience in the University or analogous institution as Architect/Engineer/Quantity Surveyor etc. OR must have served in a relevant field in industry, commerce or public service for a minimum of six (6) years.
  • Have attained the rank to which they are being appointed from an analogous institution.

3. SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST/SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER/SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Qualifications Required and Experience

Applicants for the Senior Systems Analyst/Senior Software Engineer/Senior Network Engineer position must:

  1. Possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or any other relevant qualification in a relevant field; AND
  2. Possess a relevant professional qualification, preferably CISCO Certification, IT Security Certification, Certified Information Systems Auditor and Microsoft Certification.
  3. Have served as Systems Analyst/Programmer in the University or analogous institution for a minimum of four (4) years OR must have served in a relevant field in industry, commerce or public service for a minimum of six (6) years.
  4. Have attained the rank to which they are being appointed from an analogous institution.

4. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR

Qualifications Required and Experience

Applicants for the Assistant Registrar position must:

  1. Have Master’s Degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Higher Education Administration, Educational Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  2. Be a member of a relevant professional body.
  3. Have a minimum of two (2) years post-qualification administrative experience in a tertiary institution or an analogous organization.
  4. Have served satisfactorily as a Junior Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent grade.
  5. Show proof of demonstrable experience in managing international partnerships, international student affairs, exchange programmes, or international higher education initiatives.

5. ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR

Qualifications Required and Experience

Applicants for the Assistant Internal Auditor position must:

  1. Possess a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  2. Minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience in auditing, accounting, or finance from an analogous institution.
  3. Be a member of a recognized Professional Accounting/Finance body, preferably:

a. Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA)

b. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

c. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

d. Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors

e. Certified Internal Auditor

Location – Somanya

All the appointments are full-time.

3. Create account and verify your phone number.

4. Fill out the personal details, educational and employment backgrounds columns.

5. Upload required documents like academic certificates, birth certificate, Police reports, Curriculum Vitae, Transcripts of academic qualifications and Names of at least three (3) referees.

6. Enclose in an envelope, a printed copy of your completed online application together with your Application Letter, photocopies of academic certificates, birth certificate, Police reports, Curriculum Vitae. Transcripts of academic qualifications and Names of at least three (3) referees.
