The Governing Council of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development
(UESD), Somanya, Eastern Region, at its 33rd Meeting, approved the promotion of some Senior
Members (Academic) to various ranks. The approval follows recommendations by the
University’s Appointments and Promotions Board, in accordance with Statute 4(g) of the
University Statutes.
A statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Mary Abena Agyepong,
announced the promotions as follows:
A. PROMOTION FROM ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR TO PROFESSOR
B. PROMOTION FROM SENIOR LECTURER TO ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
C. PROMOTION FROM LECTURER TO SENIOR LECTURER
On behalf of the Council Chairman the statement congratulates the newly promoted Senior Members and wished them well in their new ranks.
