Since, the Earth Summit in Rio De Janeiro in 1992, the Global Leadership has fairly and widely recognized that unsustainable approaches to most development initiatives have necessitated the continuous call for more sustainable actions – an action that encourages the judicious use of environmental resources, promotes people’s social well-being and provides economic value for investors. Hence the adoption of sustainable development goals (SDGs).The United Nations (UN) Secretary General, Mr. António Guterres, said that the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is still in its early stages around the world and in developing countries to be specific.
